Camps are situated in the Zululand and Maputaland regions of KwaZulu Natal South Africa.
An area where the rich diversity of habitats is one of the chief attractions.

Thanda Private Game Reserve

The Bhejane Nature Training College is sitauted on the

Thanda Private Game Reserve in Norhtern Zululand, KZN.

Student

accommodation here is in thatched A-frame huts

and

dormitories

, in an unfenced camp within the Thanda Private

Game Reserve. All naturally occuring species are present on

this reserve, including the Big 5

(Lion, Leopard, Buffalo,

Elephant and Rhino)

, Wild

Dog, Black Rhino and Cheetah.

Covering an area of nearly 14 000ha the reserve is home to a

wide variety of plant and animal species. The reserve is

surrounded by conservation areas such as the Hluhluwe-

Umfolozi Game Reserve, Mkuze Game Reserve, the Zululand

Rhino Reserve

, Phinda

and the greater St. Lucia iSimangaliso

Wetlands Park.

Sodwana Bay / Coral Divers

Marine Guide Training takes place in Sodwana Bay at the Coral
Divers concession in the iSimangaliso Wetlands Park.

Accommodation is provided in two man tents, with options to upgrade
to more comfortable accommodation. The camp is conveniently
situated within the national park allowing students the opportunity to
get to know the coastal and marine environments. Regular sightings
of Samango Monkeys and Livingstones Turaco are common in this
sub-tropical region.

Known globally as one of the 10 top dive sites the park is home to
pristine coral reefs where you can expect to find up to 1200 species
of fish.
